Bumped into one of Derbys coaches last night who I
knew from school, he was told that the board are looking for an experienced ex manager
to come in as a part time advisor to help Nigel. I know people may find this
unbelievable but the guy they have approached is none other than the bald eagle Jim
Smith.

Expect nigel to snap up more lower league players
this summer with steven schumacher, peter sweeney and andy bishop at the top of his
target list all currently doing a sterling job for bury, as nigel says there some gems
that go un-noticed in the lower leagues as his previous signings have proved. keep the
faith nigels the man to take this club forward

Get ready for a clear out this summer. Clough will
axe nearly the whole team. Plans are under way to rebuild in the summer. 2 year plan to
get Derby fit to challenge for a top 6 place. Don't expect big names, but do expect
players with the right atitude.

Joel Grant from Crewe to be signed on loan this
week with a permanent deal of £225k agreed in the summer. Just the sort of player
derby need.

Derby, Notts Forest, Brighton and Watford are
looking to sign former Blackburn and Sparta Prague left winger Sergio Peter. He is
currently playing in the 5th level of German football to keep up his fitness levels but
is out of contract in the summer and several championship clubs are looking to
pounce.
