Scott Sinclair is wanted on a seasons loan if Derby gain promotion.

Luc Castaignos is what I think we really need. If we sign Thorne and keep Hughes and Bryson I think our midfield will be good enough for the prem and the best in the championship

Luc castaignos will be a good signing for us!

If Derby gain promotion to the Premier League they will move for Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole.

Hope not he's dreadful

I don't think he would not be a good signing for us in the summer if we do get promotion to the premier league this season

He's PL experienced, a leader on the pitch and a tough tackler. He is exactly what derby need!

He's over rated, cumbersome, can't pass, terrible disciplinary record.

But players can be different under different managers. Steve McClaren would help improve Lee Cattermole as a player massively.

Surely it would have been better to wait on agreeing this sponsorship deal with EKV Design until after the results of the play offs are known? The price for a Prem team sponsorship package would surely have been much higher.

Ticket prices have been confirmed as Season ticket holders £25, senior citizens ST holders £17 Under 18's £14 and Under 12's £7. 50 for the play offs.

I see Chris Martin is praising the loanees for their quality, and I do agree, but it does propose a question - what happens next season if we go up and we don't have them? We are going to need to replace them, before we can buy anyone to strengthen the team. This is why I am not a fan of loans, they put the team in a difficult situation when they are gone.

Lukaku and Remy seem to have worked well on loans spells though!

Derbys' problem with getting loan players in will be paying the wages! All present loanees will return to parent clubs and not be coming to Derby even if they get promoted. So we need to look for bargain buys such as Huddlestone who did tremendous for Hull, that is the sort of player we need.

If Promotion, Rams are looking at:

Kyle Naughton (Spurs) Loan
Alex Pearce (Reading) £1.5m
Craig Gardner (Sunderland) £2.5m
Wilfred Zaha (Man U) Loan
Franck Moussa (Coventry) £1.5m
Luc Castaignos (FC Twente) £1m

Outgoings:

Andre Wisdom (Loan Expired), Shaun Barker (Retirement), Lee Naylor (Contract Expired), George Thorne (Loan Expired), Will Hughes (£5m, Return on Loan), Patrick Bamford (Loan Expired), Conor Sammon (£800k to Championship Club).

I would like to see Andre Wisdom return to Derby next season on loan again and George thorne coming back to the club on loan or Permanent deal

Heard a lot of talk about Castaignos. hope this is true. Looks a great prospect.

Any word on this ED?

{Ed001's Note - only team I have heard linked to him in England recently was Southampton, but he is available, and I was told looking to come to England.}

Derby County and Nottingham Forest are keeping tabs on Ryan Shotton of Stoke City as he is keen to leave the Britannia Stadium at the end of the season in search for more gametime, Stoke are prepared to let him go for in the region of £750,000.

I hope not he is awful.

09 Apr 2014 16:00:18
Derby want striker Lewis Grabban in the summer.

I don't think he is a premier league striker he is a championship striker instead

07 Apr 2014 19:13:52
Derby want to sign Karol Linnety from Lech Poznan, Lewis Grabban, Martin Mutamba/Frank Moussa, Luc Castaignos, John Arne Riise, Nathan Ake (season loan), Grant Leadbitter and Mark Hudson in the summer. Plenty of outgoings including James Bailey, Ross Atkins, Ben Davies, Kieron Freeman, Adam Legzdins, Will Hughes (£12m with a loan back for the rest of the season), Shaun Barker (retirement), Connor Sammon and Valentin Gjokaj.

I don't think we will get those players over the summer but I would like to see what Mcclaren wants in terms of players in the summer

Fringe players going out yes, but the incomings, no. Hughes staying put for sure, Derby don't need to sell and why would they when he'll be a top player for us next season with his passing and vision. Just needs to bulk up over the summer and learn when to play the simple ball and not the 'Hollywood' pass.

McClaren to concentrate on strengthening defence with pace, height and quality in the back four and a suitable replacement for Eustace in the middle. Stefano Denswill, Nathan Ake and Maurice Edu

I heard the rumour around about castaignos. Looks a quality young talent and would fit in our side.

No way will Hughes ever sell for £12 million, had a poor season compared to last and will have dropped in value due to his drop in form

Hughes will prefer the space given in the premier league the championship is to physical for his style of playing

04 Apr 2014 16:11:22
Derby looking towards next year and continued season long loans for Wisdom and Bamford whichever division we are in. Both would cost nearly £1m each to facilitate for the loan expenses but more than x5 each for permanent deals and Derby, even if they go up, will not have that amount to spend.

Fringe players Ben Davies, Callum Ball, James Bailey, Ross Atkins and Valentin Gjokaj all to go. Freeman to stay and fitness gurus assess Coutts, Barker and O'Brien before next season squad announced. Don't be surprised for Barker to announce retirement through injury.

Incomings? Callum Wilson from Coventry, Dan Burns from Fulham and Nathan Ake from Chelsea.

Dan Burn is awful, Callum Wilson and Nathan Ake are good shouts! A striker like Lewis Grabban would be a good addition.

03 Apr 2014 21:42:16
Derby County will look to bring in Cameron Jerome from Stoke if they make it up to the premier league next season, the pacey striker is currently plying his trade at Crystal Palace this season and Stoke are looking to offload the out of favour striker for as little as £2million

02 Apr 2014 14:35:24
Derby looking at Arsenal youngster Chuks Aneke for next season

I don't think young player will be they key to strengthen the squad in the summer but I would like to see experience quality players coming in over the summer
